Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Rakho ("the app", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Rakho does

Rakho lets you enter business information (including hours and description), connect a Google account with Business Profile permissions, check for existing places, create a location through Google's official APIs, and upload logo/photos. Rakho is a convenience interface; Google remains the provider of Business Profile, Maps, and related services.

3. Eligibility & authority

You must be legally able to operate a business listing and to grant Google Business Profile permissions for the accounts you connect. You confirm you own the business or are authorized to manage its listing.

4. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information and media you have rights to use.
• Comply with Google's terms, policies, and verification rules for Business Profile / Maps.
• Keep your Google account secure and revoke Rakho if you no longer want us to manage Profile data.
• Do not misuse Rakho to spam, misrepresent, or violate law.

5. Google verification & publication

Creating a location through the API does not guarantee that your business will appear publicly on Google Maps or Search. Google may require ownership verification or may reject, delay, or remove listings. Rakho does not bypass Google verification and does not auto-start verification without your action where Google requires it.

6. Third-party services

Rakho depends on Google OAuth and Google Business Profile APIs. Availability, quotas, and policies of those services are outside our control. Your use of Google is also governed by Google's terms and privacy policy.

7. No warranties

Rakho is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that a listing will be created, approved, or published by Google.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of Rakho or from Google's handling of your listing. Our total liability for any claim relating to Rakho shall not exceed the amount you paid us to use Rakho in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing).

9. Suspension

We may suspend or discontinue Rakho, or restrict access, at any time — including for maintenance, abuse, or changes to Google API availability.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date shows the latest revision.
